Genius Easypen Tablet

My genius easypen tablet does not work correctly. When i install the drivers and genitab, it does not install the control panel icon and it does allow me to open genitab. I am running windows xp home with service pack 2. Any ideas on how i can sort this out?

yes, ive got all the latest drivers, the tablet works fine on my brothers win 2000.

i have no utility box to specify the properteis and switch between moods like absolute or etc.it works well on win 95 bad on win xp

I have the same problem of other guys...My the tablet tray icon appears but I can´t open the tablet painel, sometimes the driver works and I can draw and move the tablet but can´t change the properties anyway, when I can move it it looks like more with a mouse than a tablet, when it doesn't init, I can move the cursor by pressing the pen button 1 but it doesn't draw nothing,any suggestion?

Have you tried downloading updated driver from the maufacturers website?

check in the My devices listing for anything in "other Devices" section, delete any items you find there and then perform a re-detect

sounds like it needs calibration.
to do that RTM first, get the manual and read it .
or ask them directly

Genius tablet easypen i405x problem HELPLEASE:(

I unplug the tablet before I switch on the computer. When the operating system is ready I plug it again. I wait a few seconds or minutes (one or two) while the tablet is calibrating. After that it works fine.

My Genius Easypen i405x cannot detect and sense pen pressure

I had the same problem. I have been using Win7. The solution is very simple: Uninstall your genius driver, restart your computer. Plug in the tablet, now the Windows should detect your tablet, wait a minute while the new drivers is installed. And from now it should work. Sorry for my English.

My Genius Easypen i405X tablet keeps clicking when I hover with pen.

Since you got this just a few days ago, you should take it back to where you got it and talk to them about what is going on. There is a warranty and you don't want to void that!
