How do i use it with vista basic?

Is there any way I can use this webcam with my Windows Vista Basic? I didn't realize the program doesn't have a driver for windows vista. where can i find a driver?

Hi, well I found that most webcams will install under Vista with the "Look123" driver from M$ Update site, OR simply install the correct XP driver in "Compatibility Mode" When trying to install camera.. when it asks let it connect to the net to find any drivers from the M$ web site... often works...

Which Windows Vista Edition are you?
If you are upgrading XP to Vista, make sure you backup and have the program "Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor"

Download Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor:

Can't scan with HP Photosmart C5280 with Windows Vista OS. Printing is ok.

Windows Vista provides a basic set of scanning drivers, also referred to as Windows Image Aquisition (WIA) drivers, that you can use as an alternative to scan a document when you can not scan using the HP drivers.


Scanning with Windows Photo Gallery To scan a document using Windows Photo Gallery in Windows Vista, follow these steps:
  1. Click the Windows Vista (c01319360.gif ) icon, click All Programs , and then click Windows Photo Gallery .
  2. Click File , and then click Import From Camera or Scanner .
  3. Click Import , and then click Scan .


Scanning with Paint To scan a document using Paint in Windows Vista , follow these steps:
  1. Click the Windows Vista (c01319360.gif ) icon, click All Programs , click Accessories , and then click Paint .
  2. Click File , and then click Import From Camera or Scanner .
  3. Make any desired setting changes, and then click Scan .

Problem loading Webcam driver
Normal 0 You need to go to the manufactures site and download the VISTA driver for the camera. Then follow the info below to install the program.


Normal 0
Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded software program. When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.

Web cam driver
1st You download Webcam Driver. Free Logitech Webcam Driver Vista After this install the webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
  • Go to the control panel
  • Click on the System Icon
  • Click on the Hardware Tab
  • Click on the Device Manager then
  • Select the Unknown Device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
  • Right click on it and uninstall it.
  • After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
  • Driver installation Wizard start.
  • Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
  • Driver will be install.

Veo advanced connect/vista compat..
as you will see below, there are no drivers for Vista as this cam is discontinued, but trying other windows drivers is worth a go before you throw it. http://www.camera-drivers.com/companies/1734.htm

This webcam is not Vista certified. There are no drivers available for Vista at this time. Wish I had better news.

after having the blutooth headset charge for over 5 hours the blue light won't turn off and headset is not turning on. I tried by charging it again but it won't work. Model BMH-100 that came in a kit along with the camera and the dundle (which I can't find)
