I NEED A NEW DISK (CD) TO LOAD THE PROGRAM TO MY NEW LAP TOP.

Hello, depending on how old your laptop is, it may need some more memory added. First i would go to www.malwarebytes.com and download the free software and run it and check for viruses, spybots and trojans. Then i would go to start, click on computer, then right click the c: drive and do disk cleanup make sure all boxes are checked and clean them all. This is general maintenance for your laptop.

You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CD which contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removal program. Use a Flash pen memery stick.

You can download the drivers and software from HP assuming your laptop has a supported OS and meets the minimum requirements for memory et al. See the following long URL and pick your OS:

(Another option is to get a external (USB) CD-drive for $50 or more (depending on the drive and whether it is bus-powered or self-powered (with a transformer).)

Note that Win7 has the drivers built in and you'll need to use either Windows Fax and Scan or Paint as your scan software, unless you wish to buy a third-party software option.

Down load your drivers to a pc where you have internet connection, copy the drives to a USB memory stick and the load the drivers on your lap top and your ready to go.

ya download a XP bootable torrent from www.torrentz.com thn burn it in to the CD thn load it in to the laptop..
