Hellow folks, my hp deskjet printer 3650 wont print, the power led would just keep blinking, normaly when i open the case the cover the cartridge would move but in my case i won't move.

I chech the USB cable and ink and everething is ok but the printer is not working . need help.

Try unplugging the device for ~1minute then plug it back in and power it up. If that does not resolve the issue, check to make sure theres notthing obstructing the print carriage from moving freely, paper, rats, dust accumulation.

You may check to insure the USB cable at the printer or at the computer is connected properly and didn't come loose by chance. Try disconnecting the USB cable from the computer, wait ten seconds then reconnect. This will let Windows "find" the printer again. Worse case scenario, you could delete the printer through device manager, reboot you computer and Windows will "find" the printer and reinstall the driver automatically on restart. Also check that the ink cartridge(s) is seated properly.

Close the printer
top cover.
If the PRINT CARTRIDGE light continues
to blink, continue with the following steps:
Open the top cover. The
print cartridge cradle will move and then stop.
Locate the yellow arrow on the top of
the print cartridge cradle. The yellow arrow points to a drawing of a
cartridge that represents a symptom. Perform the task associated with
that symptom.
One or both print head are defective.Open cover put out color cartridge then close cover.If blinking stops replace color cartridge.If blinking continues put out black cartridge and put in color.If blinking stops replace black cartridge, if not stop replace both cartridges.

Turn the printer on, Press and hold down the POWER button while holding down the power button Open and close the top cover four times and then release the POWER button
It will print a page and in that page just look for Line Number 21 which will say like - PX = XXX XXX is the number of pages this printer has printed till date

See this article to resolve the blinking lights. Then see this article and possibly this one to clear the print queue. You may have to cancel an active print job to remove it, or reboot the computer. Create a new folder on your desktop and name it newhpdrivers(substitute your manufacturer in new name).Un-intall printer and printer software completely.Go to manufacturers website and navigate to their drivers/downloads or support menu.Select your model, choose the relevant software and download to the new folder you created on your desktop(watch for the light yellow bar at the top of window viewing pane, click on this and choose – download file - .Power down your computer.Reconnect the printer to the computer and turn printer on. Power on pc.Windows will detect new hardware and ask if you have the manufacturers install cd or a location to check for install files.Direct the wizard to your new software, follow the rest of the setup instructions and your done.
