All connections were checked and different phone ports were tried, but all I get is static. There is no dial tone.
AT & T CL2939 big button phone, the "in-use" button always blinking and there is no dial tone.
The phone does not have a dial tone anymore. It did until I called the phone once, it rang once then went to a busy signal. The digital display showed a call and then it beeped once and the call and dial tone was lost.
