I had problems with my inverter board and had replaced it myself. It works only marginally better but seems to still turn off whenever I crank up the contrast too high. I noticed a small potentiometer on the board though and am wondering if it can be adjusted to prevent this from happening or if it shouldn't be touched at all?
Dear User, I would suggest not to tampering with your lcd inverter potentiometer, as it control the amount of voltage being use by the lcd montior. As you have seen from earlier event, it turns off once it reach a certain point. In which, whats really happen is that its reaching a certain temperature and voltage, to which it's shut off to save it's self from burning out. It can also be the lcd inverter was set wrong from the manufacture, and turns off just like before.
