Cant find filter on my hotpoint Ultima

If youhave a booklet which comes with the machine it should tell you in there .Alternatively contact Hotpoint customer service. they will advise.

the belt has come off or broken on the back take lid or back panel off and have a look

Check the filter and the actual pump itself for blockage.unless you have already done so, also pump itself could be faulty.

You will probably need to clean the pump filter.
To access the pump filter,remove the lower plastic panel at front of washer, there you will see the filter, unscrew the cover anti-clockwise, remove filter and clean.
This should clear the fault.
If it does not , let me know, and i can can tell you other things to look for.

may need reprogramming of the eeprom on the control board. can only be done by engineer visit. explain over the phone 1st you need reprogramming if not using hotpoint.

i rang the service engineer and they looked up the code, it was something to do with overheating, they are sending someone to fix it soon!

called out hotpoint.error code apparently means pressure switch faulty.

hold child lock button down for 2 seconds you will then hear a beep done.

Hi,I have a 2nd hand Hotpoint Ultima digital washing machine & cant seem to use it as when i turn it on on display screen the childlock icon flashes & beeps,even when door is open/closed,when i select a programme the icon still flashes & beeps therefore i cannot use machine.hope you can help me with my question Thanks.GILLI37
