Hai, Please check the thread tension and change the new thread and new needle. Otherwise put the some drops oil in the top and bobbin thread. Or go to mechanic shop.

question is unclear. I had one of these super nice machines and it's one of the most advanced "auto-thread" mechanisms in any machine.
Go to an authorized Brother Repair shop and have it tuned- up and get more advice on how you might be able to DIY???

turn your bobbin over. check your manual for to be sure it is loaded correctly, (and bobbin tension is set correctly). Make sure the machine is threaded right. And if its an older machine...your not holding your mouth just right....(I have an OLD kenmore and more times then not, I'm not hlding my mouth just right.)

given that the machine is only a month or so old, the best advice i can give you is to do nothing to the machine and call the sewing machine guy out to repair it for you. a brand new machine like this will be covered by the warranty. as long as you have actually switched the machine on properly, any faults are the responsibility of the supplier at this stage.

1.check to see if the needle is in backwards
2.check to see if the needle is bent--lay it on a table & see
3.check the bobbin to see if it's warped
4.make sure it's threaded correctly-sometimes the thread on the thread take up lever can come off--it does on my mechanical sewing machine & I've been sewing & working on sewing machine for 23 years

Welcome to FixYa. I always try the easiest fixes first - make sure your bobbin is inserted correctly, and that the bobbin thread is securely threaded in the bobbin case (sometimes the bobbin thread doesn't "catch" when you place it in the bobbin case). If all is well in the bobbin area, rethread your machine. Make sure that the presser foot is in the raised position when you thread. If it still isn't sewing correctly, change your needle. These last three steps fix most problems. But, if you are still having problems, look at the thread in the problem bobbin. It should be straight and tight. If it is kind of wobbly and a little loose, you'll need to wind the thread onto a new bobbin.

If are new to sewing, keep your manual close by and refer to it often. Simple mistakes can make a new sewer loose confidence, but it is all part of the process of learning your machine.

This is for a front loading bobbin

You have not mentioned the machine or model, so if this is not like yours, it will be a top loading or drop-in bobbin.

In either event, the idea is to pass the thread thru a small slot and thereby between a tensioning spring......your Instruction manual will have details for your model, tho' with a little thought, any manual for a similar machine (top or front loading) should give you the basic idea.
