I seem to have disabled audio, Help!

Hi. Somehow I seem to have managed to completely disable the audio on my K800i. I have just started to use the # key to enable/disable silent mode but now no matter what I do I can't seem to get any audio out. Trying to select different ring tones just gives me the message 'cannot play this sound'. Help!! Cheers.

Thanks very much. In fact, the act of connecting to my PC to copy some files across seems to have sorted it!. Cheers again.

How do you take the silent mode off

Press and hold the # button (below 9) to toggle the Silent Mode on or off. When you turn it on, it will prompt you for how long you want the silent mode to last. If you do nothing, the silent mode will be enabled for Always On 5 seconds after you press and hold the # key.

If you turn off the answering system, the silent mode will be disabled.

I hope this helps.

My uniden phone is on silent mode and i cannot get it to ring noma;

For most Uniden phones, you can cancel the Silent Mode by pressing and holding the # key for ~5 seconds on any handset. (The key is below the 9 on the keypad.) You will see the icon disappear when you hold the key for long enough. This method also enables the Silent Mode. When it is enabled, you have the option of pressing a number key to limit the Silent Mode to a specific number of hours.

Note: other Uniden models have a Do Not Disturb option. The feature can only be enabled or disabled at the base.

I hope this helps.

Silent mode on fugifilm x-M1 digital camera not working

For silent mode the manual says o page 84: In the Setup Menu Options: Select ON to disable the speaker, flash, and illuminator in situations in which camera sounds or lights may be unwelcome (note that silent mode can not be enabled or disabled during movie playback). Silent mode can also be turned on or off using the DISP/BACK button as described on page 4.
Perhaps you try this one?

I'd try another keyboard to make sure it isn't a stuck key and if it still does it somehow the space bar is putting the pc into hibernate or sleep mode. For that you need to look at your power settings under control panel and just disable the mode. It is not normally used on desktops but it still puts them to sleep when it is enabled. I have a dedicated sleep button on my keyboard I cannot disable. And once every so often I grab my keyboard the wrong way and manage to shut it down.

Keyboard disabled. somehow disable my keyboard

Did you try Fn+F5? You can usually disable the touchpad but keyboard?
Try to uninstall the keyboard from device manager. Right-click on my computer->Properties->Device manager-Right-click on keyboard(HID keyboard device) and uninstall it. Then reboot your computer if you just disabled it windows will re-install the driver automatically and re-enable it

Let me know if you need more help.

I have changed the settings somehow on my camera and don't know how to get it back to it's original setting, the quality of my photo's seem quite ***** like and very bright.. anyone know how to change it...

Press the MENU button to bring up the Record mode Menu. You can use this shortcut menu to quickly change image resolution, reset all settings to factor defaults, enter Panorama mode, enable Picture+Sounds, enable Silent mode, change the scene mode (when set to the SCN position on the mode dial) as well as enter the Setup menu.

Hope this helps.

I dont have any sound on it at the moment, there seems to be some bluetooth audio on it, how do i get my sound back up?

Hi I am Vortash I am not 100% sure but I think youre sound maybe just disabled in the system configuration .. heres how to check ... select .. Start ..,.. Settings Control panel Device Manager ( in XP you will have to select system first then device manager from the dropdown directory ) vista is easier . When in device manager select sound and audio controlers click on the + sign and a menu will drop down of the items in that system .. can you see the name of an audio sound card ( if it is disabled a question mark or an arrow will be by the side of it ) there click on it and then right click your mouse click properties and read what it says dont alter anything at this stage .. Hopefuly it will say that .. This device is working .. if it does go straight to the X and close the box if not click on driver tag at the top .. half way down you will see tag that says enable click on it then close the box shut the computer down and restart .. your sound should be back on if you enabled the tag if it didnt and you exited without enabling anything .. check that this bluetooth device is not on and shutting your sound off in the windows command by going to the bluetooth program and exiting bluetooth mode that should be in device manager again and you treat it the same as you did the sound card only this one you disable .. and then try your sound.. I hope this works for you good luck Regards Vortash .....
(. PS dont disable anything else in Dev Man or you could have loads more probs lol .. )

How can I make the mobile silent while someone calling

Depends on your model. Most mobile phones will go into Silent mode if you press and hold the # key.

If not then it'll be displayed in your phone settings. Most phones have a Settings tab and the silent mode feature can be enabled/disabled in the 'Sounds and Alerts' section.
