Ice Cam My ice cam shows others everything that's going on in my desktop with only a small picture of myself in the corner which is really choppy. The people on the other end say that they can see themselves my desktop and me. WTF?

If you?re asking why they see both themselves and you then the answer is that is the way they have their end configured. I don?t know what program you are using but I have created the same effect with Windows messenger in the past.

When i make a call on the skype...the other person sees the pink video of mine ...plus i see myself pink too...what can i do to solve it...My Os win7..

This might be an issue with your web cam settings or the web cam itself. Try going through the options of the web cam to see if there are any settings making the web cam display everything pink. If not then try the web cam in another computer (I'm assuming you have a desktop with an external web cam) see if the video is still pink. If it is then there is an issue with your web cam if not then it is an issue with the settings on your computer

In the event that you are using a laptop with a built in web cam you might want to check if you still have a warranty to get the web cam repaired.

the ICE CAM is a not suitable camera for your MAC.. in fact the ICE CAM (of which i have several) are 3rd rated as they work with skype and yahoo applications only.

Not making ice cubes

Fill ice maker with tap water and let freeze. If ice dumps and water does not refill tray then the water control valve is defective. If ice remains in ice maker then ice maker is the problem.

I think Amana still uses the Whirlpool made ice maker. It consits of a mold, a paddel to remove the ice, a motor to drive the paddel and a cam. The electrical part consists of mold, thermostate or sensor ( use to be thermo-disc), micro switches, 1 to hold the unit running 2nd to alow water to flow at a certain time and a mold heater. Sequence of operation: Thermostate senses mold is cold, activates motor to turn paddels and cam. As cam turns it depresses a micro switch to hold motor running. Motor cam and paddel turn, mold heater is also turned on. As mold warms the paddels scoup out the ice. Contunes to turn until a spot on the cam activates another micro switch to allow water in. Motor continues, as cam reaches a spot it releases the micro switch for water andthen the switch holding the motor on and unit shuts off ready to do it again.

Check for broken gear or cam in the ice maker module. You can repair them but it might be easier to replace. If your gear and cam are good it pobably is something else that's wrong.

2003 whirlpool ice maker doesn't work

May be an issue with the cam that operates the ice maker. U can pick up a new ice maker for about 40 bucks on ebay.

Lots of things could be bogus. If the solenoid does not open, no water in tray - no ice. If tray does not get warm for fingers, fingers cannot push ice out - no ice. If freezer is not at least 10 degrees, no ice making at all. If cam motor for maker is bogus, anything could be out of whack.

Make sure that the ice maker is in "on" mode.
