Re:
Speakers are very vulnerable on these units along with radar detectors. they get jostled around and broken or garbled.
The unit needs service or you can live without voice as i had to for a while(just got new unit 2 weeks ago)

I can't find a TomTom 4GD00. However, the manual for the TomTom Rider indicates the FCC has assigned the TomTom Rider radio the ID of S4L4GD00. The Canadian equivalent of the ID is 5767A-4GD00,
Reset the unit by pressing the small pin hole button. Do this when the unit is on. let it reboot by itself and try again to pair ur phone/blutooth.
Hope this helps. let me know if not.
Open the compartment on the bottom of your TOM TOM RIDER and bellow the memory card slot there is a small hole and with a needle insert on it and bingo the unit shuts-off.
If your TomTom GO/ONE/RIDER is frozen, won’t turn on or does not
behave as it should, it can be fixed by resetting or restarting your
TomTom device. A reset will not delete any data from your device, with the exception of SMS messages on TomTom GO500/700.
Connect
your GO/ONE/RIDER to the power charger. If you have a power charger,
use it to power your TomTom GO/ONE/RIDER. If you do not have a power
charger, make sure that the battery in your TomTom GO/ONE is fully
charged. Note: You need to charge your GO/ONE for at least 2 hours using the 12-24V cigarette lighter adapter.
Reset
your GO/ONE/RIDER. To reset the unit, you simply have to push a
straightened paper clip (or something similar) into the RESET hole on
the device.
On TomTom GO 910/710/510, the RESET hole is located on the bottom of the device.
On TomTom GO 700/500/300, the RESET hole is located on the bottom of the device with the word RESET right next to it.
On
TomTom ONE, the RESET hole is located on the bottom of the device, with
the word RESET right next to it (just below the SD card slot).
On
TomTom RIDER, the RESET hole is on the bottom of the device, behind the
SD card door. When opening the SD card door you will see the RESET hole
on the left, right underneath the SD card slot.
Your TomTom GO/ONE/RIDER is now reset. Finally, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
