Acer aspire one, the color is flashing and changing on the screen

for this, kindly check the BIOS mode of your machien first to know if the pink lines will still show there and if it still show then you may wanto contact your acer support to arrange a screen repair or replacment since issues like this are usually cause by dead pixels or display driver problem or display driver updates issues

The line may indicate 2 things, your video card is corrupted or damaged, or or lcd monitor is itself damaged. Proceed to your local service center/supplier.

If you hear the hard drive spinning and you think Windows is working but you can't see an image then :-
You could have a defective screen - a defective inverter or a CCFL lamp or simply the video cable needs reseating. After reseating the video cable and the problem is still there then :-
To determine if you have a LCD screen or video card problem, read this and follow the instructions.

Defective CCFL backlight, it may have the following symptom:

• Screen flashs on red/pink and off.
• Picture stays on in red and slowly be come normal.
• Picture flickering with dim display or appear black.
• Picture flickering on and off.

All these symptoms indicate that the LCD backlight lamp (CCFL Lamp) has reached the end of the life and all you need to do is replacing the CCFL lamp

Connect an external monitor to your laptop and power it up, if you see the normal Windows images then the video card and laptop is OK and the problem is definitely the backlight.

Dim image and/or dark display on the laptop's LCD screen indicates a faulty LCD backlight and it could be the inverter that supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp or it is the CCLF lamp is nearly burnt out or burnt out, most likely this is the case.
The inverter can be replaced easily but the CCLF lamp is more time consuming and requires soldering skills.

This is basically happens with a tft.Please check it with a experienced technicin or u can take to your nearest aser service station for repair or replaced the tft.

I had the same problem but the white color became cyan.
I "solved" the problem hiting the back of the monitor. I think that is a problem of contacts between the signal of the monitor and the pc.

its u r laptop lcd problem.so please replace u r lcd

have you tried the video settings by right-clicking the desktop then properties>settings tab then either manually change colour support or go advanced. If it doesn't budge, try turning off the system, go to safe mode if it still has a problem, try reinstalling your graphics or video drivers.
