Mitsubishi wd-65738 flickering

Changed the bulb 3x. dusted off the intake valves in the front of the tv. tried to reset the lamp bulb. still flickering. from my understanding if the ballast board is bad/going bad the tv should either not come on at all or turn off by itself. my tv does neither of these things. after you turn it on, the picture is GREAT and approximately 30-45 minutes later, the color starts to flicker. the picture is great again.....then flickering color and good color...then the color is gone. wth?!?

The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. SOURCE: New bulb/TV still shuts down

Its far more likely the result of the power pwb capacitors that have failed. As the 34 code will appear if the capacitors fail on the Power PWB. You can get the V26 DLP Power repair kit at the following link.with free instructions

SOURCE: Mitsubishi WD-65733 no picture, electrical buzzes in series

What it sound's like is that the lamp ballast is the problem. Buzzing sounds like when the power is first brought to the ballast it has to ramp up the voltage to get the lamp to light, then the voltage drops back down when the lamp is lit. Sounds like the lamp ballast isn't ramping up the voltage the way it should. May have to replace it. A good service shop would be able to do this for you.

My Mitsubishi WD-65638 turns on then flickers and turns off?

Flickering must be due to the fault to lamp itself. If you wish to get more details, check this link.

I had to replace my lamp bulb in my mitsubishi wd-60638 tv and now i have a picture again but it is fickering and greenish tint to the screen

If you tried a cheap bulb then that might be the problem as some of the bulb carrage may not be complete4lyto spec. I had one that was close but there was a gap between bulb and where it fits. I went with a bulb dealer that had I believe a 1 year warrante and I have had no problems. I had a 73838 tv set.

Mitsubishi wd 60735 dlp tv red lamp light

A common issue and it may be your problem is dust and dirt inside the unit---the set intakes air from the front and exhausts it out the rear==I have seen several of these sets where removing rear cover and taking stthe set outside and blowing it with a air compressor clears the issue.

Fans and other critical items that get clogged or coated with a moderate amount of dust will cause this issue.

Mitsubishi WD-65C10 replaced bulb now it turns on the picture is good for about 20 seconds then it starts to flash and shuts off

The buzz may be coming from the ballast which powers the lamp--a few possible reasons: new lamp is generic or even bad. ballast is bad.

Also, do not rule out the possible dirt issue--these sets intake air from the front and the usual dust at the same time--fans and areas they vent become blocked and set will detect fans run too slow or temperature too high and shut set off.

To begin with in this situation in our shop we roll it outside and with air clean it completely out.

A few things to check and a place to start.

I have a mitsubishi wd 65738. My picture suddenly went dim. I can still see a picture but the room has to be very dark and its still hard to see. Do I just need to replace a bulb?

Hello
Its bulb has got traoubled or its control circuit has some faut with it. it is not a user serviceable item. Replacing bulb can be done by the user according to the instructions in its user manual. But trouble shooting its control section must be done be any experienced service technician. OK.
