I ahve a Durabrand W600-S 6 cd shelf system, recently the cd shelf has stopped opening when I press the button to open it. The display reads open but the cd tray stays closed. This system is only about 2 months old. I have 6 cds stuck inside the unit. Please Help!

this kind of repair requires certain skils and knowledge about the cd changer mechanism. Please claim for an in warranty repair or replacement of the system.

hello try this disconnect from ac outlet wait 1 or 2 mins and before you connect again push the power button hold it and connect see what happnes...you problem actually lies on faulty switch door....saludos
I had the same problem with my CMT-EP707. I read on this site to try various combinations of turning power off then turning the power back on while holding down either or both of the stop play button and the eject button for the affected CD tray. What seemed to work for me was turning on the power while holding down the eject button for CD tray 2, even though the error referred to CD tray 1.
No, unless a piece of clear plastic is covering it. If you can hear the motor and see that it is trying to open, it may need a very gentle pry with a plastic butter knife. I do not recommend that unless there is no warranty. I would just bring it back to the store where you go it from.
