Re: webcam shows all pics on one end and only senders pic...
This sounds more like an issue with the software you are using than the webcam. She might try to uninstall the reinstall the drivers, however because she is able to see herself it appears the webcam is functioning. I would consult the tech support team for the software you are using for the video calls.

those pics will be within a folder called documents and a folder called lifefram. you can also type that in your built in computer search and it will find all known locations of file named life fram, when you see this folder open it and youll see a few folders music, videos, pics, games. youll find all things in this location. hope that helps.
Look in the settings for the webcam software (may be in the software you use for video calling, if no other software is showing the picture inverted then it's a strong possibility that it is the video calling software settings) to rotate the picture.
Open the control panel on the start menu and click hardware and sound, choose devices and printers and see if the webcam shows up there. If it does right click and click troubleshoot. Windows will scan the device for errors. If the device is not visible in the device manager, then you need to install a driver for it. If you let me know the model of your PC I may be able to point you to the right place to download a new driver or you can try the Advent support website.
you have very interesting problem. It seem to me just lens unit defective. What I can tell between camera picture mode work and video mode work are depend on how mechanical shutter unit and electro shutter signal work. It is kind of technical thing to figure them out. Maybe I am wrong, but I sure also. Thanks and best regard!
