My computer is pretty old so it won't let me download music from online sites or even from media player! So I go to relatives to use there computers, but every time I tried to download my fave songs they wouldn't show up. Even one time all my music was deleted after trying to download. But when we upgraded computers i downloaded my music back on, and tried again to download off sites. It didn't work. the worst part of all was that it said almost 3/4 of my memories was used, but i only had 40 something songs on it. It also said that i had over 100 recordings on my player. I figured out that every time i tried to download it went to recordings instead of music. But now i cant delete any of it! So i have about 10 of the same songs (some play in a row really annoying!) Can you tell me how to delete music?? Please!!
The m200 series has some soft problems. The firs one I bought I had to return it to the store. The second one was ok during 4 weeks. Now, my computer don't recognize the device, and the music I've recorded impossible to play it anymore. Upgrading the software it's impossible, once the computer doesn't recognize the device. Try to send them an e-mail. That's what I've done. I still wait (after 24 hours) the answer with the solution. Maybe, we should stay away from the m200 series...(?)

If you are able to use the Sansa Updater with your player, try formating it and using the updater to fix the things that are wrong with it. To format your player: 1) Goto "My Computer" and and right click your player's icon. 2) Move down the little menu that pops up when you right click it to "Format..." 3) Then, "Quick Format" it. 4) Then unplug your player from your PC. To download the Sansa Updater: 1) Click this link: http://sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1376 2) Follow the instructions to install it. To get it to work: with most PC's it should load up all by it self when you plug it in if it is in a MSC mode or if it does it in a regular mode. (I have had no experience with this model only the newer Sansa models) NOTE: If you have Windows Vista, the updater will NOT work. You will need to contact th company through their website to get a different version of the updater. Good Luck! I hope this will help you in fixing your player. Have a nice day.
