Question about Samsung PCN5425R 54" Rear Projection Television

Samsung PCN5425R decided not to work this evening.

If I try to turn it on, the little red light blinks 10 times and nothing happens. PLEASE HELP! Thanks!

I got the same problem too.. I've replaced my convergence stk's. still have no clue whats going wrong.

Thirst thing to try is take the batterys out of the remote and push all of the buttons to get any electric static for say 3 to 5 minutes if that don't work try to see if your remote signal works by using your iphone and take a few photos of the remote beam when pressing ,or the remote in the tv might have gone. SAMSUNG 52'' PCN5425R TV WONT POWER ON

when the timer light is turn ON, tv is telling you that lamp will be going out soon, is basically a hour meter, it just reach the limit of hours that tv haves program of use for a lamp and that you can reseted by:
1.- taking the lamp out nad in again, that way tv will detect there is a new lamp. If not.

My flip video camera froze.it wont turn on....

Have you tried resetting the camera? Hold down the power button and the red button simultaneously until the camera shuts off (takes about 10 seconds). Then, just press the power button again and the camera should turn back on. I had the same problem; when I pressed the red button to stop recording, the camera froze, and the red light remained on. I tried resetting it like this, and it seemed to work.

This is very common in Samsung DLPs. The DMD board is going bad. You will need to replace it.

sears does inhome service, if you do try to fix it, there is usually a board mounted to the back of the tubes (above the others), if it has this convergence board, try unplugging the red connector with the blue wire and turning set back on, if it powers with a 3d looking picture, you have a bad convergence module. Other than that you may want to call a repairman.

Hitachi 43DX20B HDTV with a screen flashing problem. I have a HDTV that when there is a lot of action in a show or movie the screen and sound flashes out. The screen goes black for about 3 - 5 seconds and comes back in. The picture is a beautiful picture but when there is a lot of gun fire or camera flashing in the movie it blanks out, the sound and everything goes out. Has anyone seen this before?

red picture tube broke at the yoke received this tv for free. worked for the first night next day the red was going on and off for a while, then on super red with a curved picture when it poped and shut down. I said to myself I can fix this ,I went to school for this kind of stuff. Proceded to take back cover off and take look, after i checked this site for clues I pulled the red plug with blue wires and tried to turn the set on. When I hit the button for the third time I almost soiled myself when the neck of the picture tube fell. I also noticed what must be coolant had squirted out the breather hole and ran down the side onto the circut board below and looks like it may have done some damage. there is one small greenish-black spot size of a pea going under a capaciter and the board looks wet in that area.Why did this happen? One more thing,the tube part number is P16LFM00RFA(TU) what is the diference of this # and that # with (AU), and what about using a tube from a green or blue and change out the lens? (with matching #'s from blue or green).
