Re:
Hi,
please check if there is enough air flow where tv's ventilation is placed..
Try to keep a pedestal fan close to the tv's air flow holes and check if it happening again..
i think this will mostly solves your problem.
If you go with this to your service centre they will simply replace the Tuner, and will give you heavy bill.

If the cat sat on the remote, it is likely it changed the tv to AV1. Just find the AV button on the remote and press it again and again. It should cycle through the different AV channels your TV has - my TV has 6 AVs, 2 HDMI and a PC channel so if yours is anything like mine, you may need to press several time to get back to your Sky/freesat/virgin box. Alternatively, some HDMI connected kit just needs turning off and on. That then sends a signal to the TV which changes the TV automatically. For example, my Blu-ray player does that. Experience - I have a cat that sits on my remote and does the same thing!!
Hi, You are trying to work out how to watch a DVD movie on your TV The DVD should be connected to your TV with Audio Video cables. And it will most likely be connected to AV1 on your TV The easiest way to find out would be to
Put a DVD in the Player and press play
Now the TV is probably in channel mode, so find the button on the TV remote that says TV/AV
now press this button TV/AV and it will scroll from TV channel to AV1, AV2 etc until you see the DVD picture.
I hope this helps you. If so please leave a vote or comment.

In short your tv has a problem on the AV connection, RF using coaxial cable is working okay.
get the tv to the w/shop, let him check the AV panel and AV processing IC.
