You can download the manual and specifications.
HI Turn the stereo OFF and then press and hold Funtion button until you see the menu use the arrows to go to the next you´ll find the aux mode there Must be OFF just turn it ON.
If you read your owner's maunal, page 26, the USB is designed for a flash drive (up to 4GB), not an Ipod. If you would like to play your iPOD, purchase the IPC008 (Ipod Lead) and you're done!
HELLO, ON THE IPOD BOX ARE SEVERAL NUMBER CODES. THEY HAVE TO BE SET TO THE RIGHT NUMBERS ON OR OFF BEFORE THE FACTORY RADIO WILL READ THE BOX. ONCE THE CORRECT NUMBERS ARE SET FOR YOUR VEHICLE THE AUX BUTTON WILL WORK JUST FINE. IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE BOOK WITH THE CODES IN IT. JUST COUNT THE WIRES ON THE ADAPTOR AND THE LOCATION OF THE PINS THEY CONNECT TO. THEN PUSH ONLY THOSE PINS UP IN THE ON POSTION. GOOD LUCK!
I have the MP-235. I could not edit my clock, my subwoofer settings werent active, and I could not switch to AUX.
If you have these problems, you have to hold down the menu button (bass boost) to enter the menu. then scroll around, turn AUX on, change the clock, etc etc.
You turn demo mode off the same way. Kinda silly how they have it all set up.
Hope that helps anyone in the future. i just wasted 3 hrs with this crap!
According to the manual, you need to "enable" the AUX 1 or 2 thru the initial settings menu.
Press and hold the SRC until the unit turns off. Then press and hold the MULTI CONTROL (knob) until the Language appears. Turn the knob to cycle thru the options, select AUX 1 or 2 and press the knob again to select ON.
After selecting them to on, power the unit on and press the SRC to cycle thru the sources to find AUX 1 or 2.
