My belt came off my dryer, Help!

My Electric Crosley Dryer was squilling b/c of the little turning wheel, & while i was fixing that, my belt came off the little pullies. Does anyone know how to fix this, or have a picture of what it shold look like?

You should have a "tension pulley" that the belt goes around somewhere in the belt track. Usually a "wheel or pulley mounted on a spring" which looks like a flat piece if metal. Check to see if it has come out of its positon or the flat spring has broken. You can buy replacements if it has. Simply reposition the belt and push the tension pulley in such a way as to engage the belt correctly. That should fix it.

Crosley dryer model # cde22b6v. Timer switch works but dryer will not turn or heat. I checked connections. Belt is good. Motor turns free. What do you think I need to check?

door switch, bypass by taping the wires together. here are some other things to check:

Crosley dryer..it squeeked we oiled the pullys

Did it smell like burnt rubber or maybe plastic burning? After you try to run it for about 10 seconds (and it won't run) then you touch the motor (with the dryer unplugged) it is hot?
It sounds like the brushes could be dirty due to the lag you placed on the dryer when it was installed incorrectly possibly.
OR
While it is plugged in, are the lights coming on in the dryer when you open it?
It could be a fuse if it has no electric going to it (the light does not turn on)
OR
Will the drum spin if you attempt to turn it manually?
THe pulley or another item on the belt system could have burned (ruined) when it was installed incorrectly.
Try to walk through each piece of the system that was affected by teh incorrect installation and see if there may be an item that is not working correctly; this could be an easy fix.
