Question about Samsung HCN553W 55" Rear Projection Television
I did try messing around with the color settings, the coverting settings, they all do affect the tv but does not seem to make the ziggy zaggy lines get worse or better. Is there anything else that I could do at home before I call in someone that charges me a lot of money just to look at the TV. One other thing is that it seems to have a lot of yellow color around the boarder of the tv. Please help!
You will need to replace or have replaced the two convergence amp IC's on the convergence board in this set. They are the STK-392-040 IC's and the original replacement numbers are available at MCM electronics. Go here to see.http://www.mcminone.com/search.asp?keyword=STK392-040&btnSubmit.x=16&btnSubmit.y=11&btnSubmit=GO Or you can call PTS corp, as they have rebuilt complete convergence boards or can rebuild yours for you at 1-800-844-7871 Good Luck
