Can't power down

WEP200 from Samsung will not respond to power off request. Button does not register that it is being pressed. Is there anyway to power it down to restart or reset earpiece?

I need instructions on how to pair my WEP200 to my new cell phone please.

1 Turn your bluetooth headset off. If it is on, press and hold multi-function button(for about 4 seconds) until the LED blinks twice. 2 Prepare your bluetooth enabled phone to be ready to go to search mode. 3 Turn your bluetooth headset on in pairing mode. (Press and hold the multi-function button for almost 9 seconds. The LED will be steadily LIT.) 4 Activate the Search option in your phone. You should see Samsung WEP200 in your phone's screen. Choose that and press OK 5 The phone will ask for a passkey. Press 0000. Then press OK. Give it a few seconds, your phone and bluetooth headset will be paired.

How do put Samsung WEP200 into pairing mode?

Starting with it turned off, press and hold the Multi-Function Button for some 8 seconds, until the indicator light is steadily lit in blue, thus indicating it is in pairing mode. Only then, make the device you want to pair your headset to search for new devices. After a while, the WEP200 should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process is successful, your headset will enter the stand-by mode. There might be an indication on the other device that it is connected to a bluetooth headset too. Once they are paired to each other, all subsequent connections between them should be achieved simply by bringing they both within each other's range (with their bluetooth radios turned off, of course).
By the way, if your headseet's user guide happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location.

Reset wep 200

This is what I did. With deviced OFF. Do the following while in your EAR.
Press and Hold the button like if you are going to turn it on. You will hear a "Beep"...Keep pressing (do not depress when you hear the '"beep")...after for about 5 more seconds or 7 you will hear a second "beep". Look at your Headset....and I noticed the light was a solid blue. I got curious and told my phone to look for devices...and in a matter of 2 seconds..Bam I saw the name...Even though it didn't read as Wep200. It says "Samsung H200", but I don't have anything samsung at home, so i picked that name and it works.

Note: I did all that in the bathroom, out of any interference. Maybe im superstitious.
Hope it helps.

I bought this device but...

when you turn on the WEP200, you must continue to hold the button down until the blue light goes solid, that indicates pairing mode. Now, have your device search for it.
