This is a very common problem with model. This problem is your Z sus Board. NOT your power supply, or Y sus board. There is a pair of Diode that goes bad. Your only solution is to change your Z sus Board. Part Number 6871QZH036B average cost $237.00

You could replace the boards yourself, however it will probably cost in the area of $500.00 to do it regardless if you or a service company repairs it.
Most likely the tv has a power supply related problem. The most common thing to go out is the circuit board that supply power to the screen. Commonly called a Backlight Inverter Board. I can't say it's 100% the problem because I can't actually look at the tv over the internet.
If its under warranty, go that route. If not under warranty and If you have some electronic experience, you can purchase a Service Manual over the internet and diagnose the source of the problem and fix it. The Service Manual will give you circuit diagrams, test points, and part# lists. Usually, cost under $20.
Unfortunately, that board is the inverter board. And for this model the inverter board is only supplied with the the PDP panel. The panel is quite expensive, here's a link if needed:

I have one here next to me when I pushed power the green LED started blinking until it brought up the picture 1 blink per second about 8 blinks. i am on the tuner input it may vary on different inputs also if it blinking like 1 blink pause 4 blinks or some pattern like that that is tech diagnostic error codes. if the tv is working you should be able to get a menu or on screen display even without an input attached. Also I only heard 1 relay click in the back
