this may be a manufacturers problem in the game cartridge itself. these things happen but are usually rare. you should be able to find help on the problem on the support site for either the game or the ds.
try compressed air.
more then likely its a hardware issue.
try getting an R4DS card and download games from www.filestube.com if you dont want to repair it.
you can have 50+ games on an sd card and not have to lug around all those games anymore
Take a can of air and blow it gently into the cartridge reader to make sure dust or dirt is not preventing the DS to read the games.
Also make sure the contacts on the games are clean as well as. You can take a damp q-tip and wipe off the contacts and then dry them off.
If the DS still doesn't read the games then the DS is bad. If the unit is under warranty then contact Nintendo or go to the store you bought it from otherwise you'll have to buy another DS.
These ds's have a problem with tarnish as well as the pins getting bent - I can fix it for you, I have done several of these. if the pin is bent the game stays down too far after clicking in and it won't read. I takes about 20 mins to straighten it out. [email protected]
You may have a bent pin on the game slot. Try inserting a game several times rapidly in and out. Look at your game cartridges and see if one of the contacts is damaged in the same place on all of the cartridges.
If this does not solve the issue, you will need to get your console repaired. Either the repair shop will replace all of the electronics or resolder a new game slot on your existing board.
