Tascam DR-05 Blank Screen

Eric have you tried to do a "Quick Format"? If I'm not mistaken when that is done, you re-format your card and the small memory in the DR05. I had trouble with mine at first but when I did the formatting after I put the bigger 2GB memory card in the DR05 worked great. I record on "All Files" too, that seems to work well also.

Are you check fuses? and harnesses connections.

Replace the Main board if your not hearing any audio from the set.

sounds like a classic psp bricking...sort of

Dr. Guard and AntiMalware defender has nothing to do with the issue you are encountering right now. most Laptop has diagnostic leds depending on whos the manufacturer. i suggest to call aspire tech support.

hi had same problem with my acer laptop,took screen off and the connector had come out of the socket,once this had been pushed back in all worked well . good luck.Gary.

To initialise the Tascam DR-05:
Press and hold the + button and the Mark button while turning on.

its a inverter circuit fault.

The camera turns on but the screen stays blank and I press any button and do not do anything no zoom no nothing and I press the menu button but neither nothing shows up just the blank screen
