How i can put built in webcam on desktop of Toshiba laplop

Go to Toshiba website and download the drive software and then install it.

Instructions

Select the "Camera Assistant Software" program located under the "Program Files" folder accessed by opening your computer "Start" menu.

View the configuration options available for your built in webcam and microphone. In order to use the webcam you will need to use a video chat service such as Yahoo Instant Messenger, AOL IM, or Google Video Chat.

Open your Instant Messaging (IM) program by double clicking the program icon on your computer desktop. If you do not have an instant messaging service, you can sign up for a service from Yahoo, AOL, or Google through the URLs included in the resource section of this article. For Yahoo and AOL, you can download and install IM software to use with your laptop webcam on your computer.

Sign in to your IM service. Then, select the "My Webcam" icon on the application menu to enable video chat in the service. When the webcam is enabled, others will be able to see and here you when conducting a video chat session on your Toshiba laptop.

look for the imaging devices(scanner, cameras etc) in Control Panel

The Toshiba Satellite C655 does not have a built in microphone, but it does have a mono microphone jack.

You may verify at Toshiba's C655 website. It says "No Webcam and microphone built into LCD bezel". http://us.toshiba.com/computers/laptops/satellite/C650/C655-S5049
Compared with the L670. It says "Webcam and microphone built into LCD bezel". http://us.toshiba.com/computers/laptops/satellite-pro/L670/L670-EZ1710

The L300-ST2501 and the L300-ST3502 are built with Webcams and there IS a microphone built into those webcams.

The L300D-ST3501 and the L300D-ST3503 are NOT built with webcams or microphones.

built in webcam ??? in a latitude d620

Goto my computer icon on the desktop and right click on it and choose properties, from there find device manager, in there look for imaging devices, click on the <+> sign and then right click on the device it brings up and update driver, choose the internet once option and wait a bit for the driver to be installed may take a few minutes so be patient.

you have in built web cam that's not a problem to install other web cam ..... connect the web cam and install the driver which one came with the web cam and enjoy it ...............

you must have at trojan or spyware , if so you won't be able to continue the transaction on their sever as the security is stoping you, or it's your own security software

First go into control panel, click system and go to device manager. Make sure there are no conflicts when the web cam is plugged in. Is this webcam built into the laptop or via usb?
