PLEASE CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY THE WORDS "ATT-ON" APPEAR ON MY CDX-C 5000 R ? IT COMES ON RANDOMLY,AND TURNS MY MUSIC VOLUME DOWN. I DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS,HOW IT STARTED TO APPEAR, OR HOW TO TURN THE BLOODY THING OFF!!!! IM LOSING HAIR!!!!!HELP!!!!!

Check page 20 for details of how to turn sound attenuation off and on.
If still no luck, try resetting the whole unit (page 7)
Try cleaning the front panel connectors (page 25)
If this doesn't work, the "ATT" telephone interface connection cable may be shorting out on something - only way to check is to pull the unit out and check any of the unconnected cables, it should be labelled.

Press and hold the SELECT button. (the setup display appears) Press SELECT button several times until Demo appears. Rotate the volume knob to turn Demo to off. Press and hold SELECT. is it a music playable phone....if yes then go to your carrier's webpage and look for apps and software...then go to catogorie and then choose music and then get the driver for your phone... or it come with a software like rapshody.....and then you can add song to your phone
to wire it up is pretty simple?the speakers are on one block which should fit straight in?and the power block might need to be swaped around a bit to make them all line up?as for turning it on look for a SOURCE or FUNCTION button?
