I read to take off the sliding side rail, but do I leave the other side rail in place. Or do I also remove that side?
Typically you can loosen the bolts on the side of a crib slowly until you get to a point where the front rail will pop out of its track. After it is removed tighten up the bolts again! I am not sure what crib you have or if that will work the same way with your configuration. You should make sure you have the springs at the lowest position as well. You will then have a 3 sided toddler day bed. I hope this helps. Richard - www.goores.com & www.gooresblog.blogspot.com

Try calling the customer service number (212)-645-9033. I have not called them yet to get the conversion rails for our Delta Luv 5 in 1, but I'm hoping that they will know more than Babies R Us!!
