Question about HP Officejet 5510 All-In-One Thermal Printer
I've had the same problem before but probably with a different model. When all else fails I simply un-install and remove all traces of the drivers and software I added. I put all the "new" updates or drivers that I've down loaded into a seperate HP folder in a place I can find it quickly (desktop works). I then shut my compter "off". Then I hook everything to my computer and let my computer detect it and do its thing. If it asks for a "driver" I look for it in the folder I created. If it can't find it then you know something is not installed right and you now know the file it's looking for. Makes it easier when you go to the service center and they ask questions. If all is installed correctly, I then check all the features "first" to see if they work before I start installing any updates. Then I install each update one at a time and test each one before I do the next. If the problem goes away at any time I stop right there and don't add any more updates. I hope this gives you some encouragement.
