Wd63 washer dryer when complete when i open the door alot of hot steam comes out

Hotp[oint Aquarius WD440 washer /dryer - Has a distinct smell from clothes when washed like stagnant water is lying somewhere in the machine, It has all benn stripped down but cannot find anything wrong. Whats the solution????

sounds like your heating element is not working prtoperly or you are not washing in very hot water stop washer in middle of cycle and open it if steam come out hot steam be careful keep face away when you open itif not hot that could be the problem,A appliance serviceman once told me if water is hot enough and end of wash and rinse cycle not to run the dry cyvcle just open dryer a few inches and let the steam out Run hot water over a plate or a pot and set it in the drain tray in your sink notice how fast it dries itself while draining in the tray very hot water in a dish washer dopes the same good luck with this problem I hope my advice helps you oh yes one more thing always run the hot water till it get hot before you turn your dishwasher on

Try buttons "dry" & "spin" together for a few seconds. This is the child lock display.

Or press "end of cycle" for over 3 seconds.

Or press "options & select" till the light goes off.

The sympoms are typical of a couple of reasons.

1. Blocked condenser.
2. faulty cold inlet valve, not letting water in to condense steam back to water.

When it is on the drying cycle, see if you can see water pumping out of the drain at. a slow rate.
If you can see no water at all coming from outlet hose, then chances are it is a faulty valve, and you will have replace same.

Turn the dryer dial to off, making sure you can hear it click off, wait 1 min, and then try door. If it will still not open then you may have faulty door lock, or a prob with the door handle.

The main cause with this model is water still in machine. Try a spin and look for water in drum. To empty manually lower drain hose into bowl untill empty. Door should then open.

Hello, sounds like your cold water feed hose has got a kink in it. The machine needs cold water to condense the steam. Just pull out the machine and slowly slide back into place.

check if you splash a lot of water specially at the center of the unit. there is this water sensor that would turn it off once this sensor is wet.

do you have any error codes?

WHAT HAS HAPPENED HERE IS THAT IS THE INTERLOCK HAS SHORTED AND BLEW THE FUSE AND THE REASON WHY THE MACHINE WORKED CAME BACK ON IS BECAUSE THE INTERLOCK HAS NOW OPENCIRCUIT AND THAT IS WHY THE DOOR WILL NOT OPEN JUST REPLACE THE INTERLOCK
