I have a bosch logixx 1600 and sometimes when i remove the washing there is a lot of flakes of dirt on the washing - looks like small bits of cardboard- this does not happen every wash and i never overload the darn thing, the filter is clean -- help
Is this perhaps a second hand machine or it has possibily been stored away for some time?
When a washer dries out inside ( behind the washer bowl ) and is then put back in service,
dirt from years of use caked on insides flakes away ( like a dry leaf crumbles) and re-enters the wash and can end up on washed clothing.
The only way to stop this is complete removal of washer bowl , scrub and clean insides to remove caked on dirt - reassembly.
problem fixed !

usally the brushes are at the back of the motor but depending on motor they could be inside . to get to these you need to remove the 4 screws wich hold motor together. but 1st thing to check is to look at armitor on motor and see if you can see a line going round in the middle. if there is the motor will probley need to be replaced as the motor will have burnt out. but motors are very expensive o these machines. hope this helps
I have a solution. You just keep turning the white knob anticlockwise. Use a pair of pliars to aid the turning keep going clockwise and anticlockwise if it gets stuck. It will rotate. Just opened my one and found a lollipop stick and a collar stiffner. Good Luck.
