Unlock lever broken on upper cover.
Find white "Triangle" on carousel and depress each side to release.
Best if top covers removed to view "triangles" [just under unlock levers].

Hp color laserjet 1025 cartridge memory error on imaging drum

If the ground spring located on the left inside wall of the printer is ok, and you have tried cleaning all the ground contacts on the cartridge, then it may just be a bad toner cartridge. Especially if it's a third party cartridge and/or especially if this problem happened right after or shortly after installing a new cartridge.

HP CP1025 print cartridge carousel not rotates.

If this printer is more than one year old, it may be less expensive to replace it. Sound like one of the drive gears or a motor has failed. Error lights/codes may indicate where the problem lies. These printers are notorious for stripping gears, especially if you are using non-HP branded toner cartridges.

Drums won't rotate

Open the front, leave it open. Open the top, pull out your drum. Put the drum back in, close the top. Close the front, let it rotate, and power off. Power back on and your drums should rotate automatically.

1" thick white space down the center of the page

From the very brief description you provided, it sounds like you may have a label or something else 'stuck' to the drum. Shut down the printer, pull the drum/toner cartridge and physically look at the drum. If there is notthing on it you may have a bad laser engine. The only way to correct this would be to replace the cartridge.

I have a paper jam in my MFC -7420. I removed a sheet from the back but there is more stuck in the front. The message says to open front cover and remove drum. I have opened the front cover but...

Don't try to remove the drum by itself while it's still in the machine,
just simply remove the drum and toner cartridge together.

There is no lock you should just be able to pull the cartridge out.

Color bands top to bottom 3.5 inches apart

dirty miror or drum will create continuous strip like that, switch off printer, remove cables and follow:
1. remove paper tray
2. remove all toners, remove waste, remove transfer drum (how to do all that is in owners manual).
3. check in full paper path, especially on line where colouring occures, remove all debris, soft brush is fine, sometime bit is stuck on the wheel, then rotate them to remove all. do not be afraid to look "under bonnet" and turn printer on it's side if needed, if there is no toner, and you do not drop it, nothing should happend.
4. lift slightly protective shields on cartridges and check if no debris is stuck on the surfaces, soft brush should remove it if any. clean waste container.
5. put everything together in reverse order as you were pulling it apart.
6. switch on printer and check for print, if lines persist, this indicate that heating element is damaged and that is usually beyond home repair.

if 6 is correct, check if you still have valid warranty, and send it for warranty repair.

How do you remove toner cartridge from a Dell 3010cn color laser printer correctly.appears to be stuck trying to remove

This is how to Install or replace the Toner Cartridge.

Install or replace the toner cartridge while the printer is on (if the power is not on, the cartridge carrier does not rotate).

1. After confirming the Insert Yellow Toner(Y) message, open the front door.

2. Hold the tape on the protective cover and pull it forward to remove the cover from each cartridge slot.

NOTE: You need to remove the protective cover only the first time that you install the toner.
NOTE: Dispose of the protective cover after you remove it.
NOTE: The protective cover is attached to each toner cartridge mount.

3. Make sure the color of the toner cartridge matches the slot on the toner cartridge carrier. The order is Y, M, C, K. Gently shake the cartridge to distribute the toner evenly.

4. Lift the tab up 90 degrees and pull the toner seal straight off, keeping it parallel with the toner cartridge.

5. To insert the toner cartridges, align the arrows on the cartridge with the corresponding arrows on the printer. Guide the cartridge in until it snaps into place and then push down the handhold to lock the cartridge in place.

6. Close the front door.

NOTE: Make sure the toner cartridge is installed correctly. Otherwise, the front door cannot close firmly.

7. The toner cartridge carrier rotates to the next empty slot. When the color of the newly inserted cartridge appears on the display, followed by the Insert message, insert the next toner cartridge.

8. Repeat steps 1 through 7 when inserting the remaining cartridges.
Cheers!!

How do I change black toner? Blue is accessible but how do I get it to rotate?

I have opened and closed the front door a number of times so that the cartridges rotate to different positions. It's trial and error until the right color is in the position to be changed.
