For awhile now, everytime I turned on my camera the green LCD light would flash once. I would then have to press the power button several times inorder to turn the camera on. Tonight I went to turn on the camera and nothing happens except for the screen display which reads "System Error (OeO1)".
Any tricks, explanations or suggestions on how to get my Casio taking pictures again?
With a system error there is actually no way to fix this problem at home, it will need to be sent in for service. A system error is internal in the camera and usually is a software issue. The service center's number for Casio is 1-800-706-2534, then option 1.

Hi there!
Please try removing the head which is easier if you take the cartridges out first(no tools required) and re-seat it having checked the contacts for dirt. If this doesn't work you can also try to reset the waste pad by turning the printer off. Then hold down Resume button and press Power button. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go. Then press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more.
Hope this helps.

This should work. If not, install the Driver and Software from the Installation CD provided with the Printer.

Sorry the manual doesn't help much either... this is what it says, "POWER lamp flashes alternate green and orange Turn the printer off and unplug
the printer from the power supply. Plug the printer back in and turn the printer
back on. If the problem remains, contact
a Canon service representative."
You could try the following reset code which works when reseting after emptying the waste ink tank:
