Mitsubishi ws-65513 My Mitsubishi ws-65513 will not turn on. The LED blinks off and on. I tried the unplug/plug route and the reset option. But that green light keeps blinking. you can email fix to [email protected]

I would like to replace the capacitors, got a lot of info and direction, but the caps are on backorder until 9-12-07? is there other ones comparable to those? for the repair

Have you looked at the DM board fix yet that's available here. http://www.fixya.com/howto/h154057-mitsubishi_dm_board_repair Check it out. If the inside of your TV set does not look like this, you will need to get the service manual to disassemble the set and get to the DM board, but use the rest of the guide to repair the board. If you are successful, you will save almost a 1000 bucks! Good Luck

I see that this post was in 2007. And....5 years later the "green blink of death" still exists. It happened to our TV last night! Major bummer! This link to fix doesn't work. Is there a new one? Thanks!

WS-65513 Blinking Green Light

I have a Mitsubishi MITWS-65813.
The green led light constantly blinks. I tried the reset button and green light is still blinking. I unplug the tv, waited a few days, then plugged the tv back in, the green light still blinks. I have a lot of experience with soldering. Do you have any suggestions or can send repair directions/protocol for the DM board.

You can get the V23 DM repair kit at the following link which has the replacement capacitors and the instalation instructions on Cd which has pictures of the repair. Its listed under the repair kit category.

if you changed the energy mode from standard to low that is normal, anytime you turn the set on it will do the same,
plug set green light will blink one minute.
turn it on it will blink onother minute and then turn on(make sure that you dont keep pressing power key) once on you can change your settings again.

Blinking light, but screen comes back Ok, I have the same model WS-65511 and what's happening is slightly different. The audio is on, but the screen is black...the green light is flashing for a minute. Then out. I press the power button and the screen comes back on for about 2 minutes. Sometimes I have to press reset because the power button will not turn back on. Twice it stayed on from 5-10 minutes, but mostly 2 min. I've done this exercise 50 times! I've done the reset, but not but NOT by unplugging the power cord. I've read about the capacitor issue. Is this the same problem or something completely different? Thanks!!!!
