SOURCE: how can i change my extension nuber (norstar M7310)

Sorry can you clairify this question...

-> You need a new extension number for your set?
-> You need a new extension on your set so you can see when they are on their phone?

If it is the first, there are many things that you need first, too much to explain at the moment. But you need to have the password and a template for your phone to make changes.

If it is the second, press:
- Feature * 0 and any button to find out what is on the button, look for an empty button or one that you want to overwrite,
- then RLS,
- press FEATURE * 2
- press the button where you want to add this new extension
- dial the extension of the new person

Voila you are done!

Good luck!

M7310 doesnt page when i press page button

So pick up the handset and press FEATURE 63. Does that work?
If it does, press Feature *0 and the button labeled PAGE. What does it say? If it doesn't say PAGE, dial FEATURE *3 the PAGE button and dial FEATURE 63.

Of course, it's possible that your whole phone system lost the programming. And, it's also possible that the all page code is 60x instead of 63. FEATURE 6 starts external paging though.

PROGRAMING PAGE FEATURE ON M7310

First try this. Press FEATURE 601. If that pages all speaker, then I remembered it correctly. If not, Try 6xx 602? 612? until the display says PAGE ALL. That's the feature code.

Now, pick a button. Press FEATURE *3 the button and dial FEATURE 6xx with xx being the code you used above.

Now when you press that button, it will page as you desire.

Norstar m7310 phone problem

Sounds like a **** button.

Unplug the phone and rake (pull your fingers across) the face of the phone...
The button that you have programmed for your accountant sounds like a good place to start looking.

We can't figure out how to turn off the intercom paging

Firstly, on your set that you want the paging to be taken off, dial FEATURE 0 and the intercom button to get the extension of your phone. Now hit the RLS button.

FEATURE * * 2 6 6 3 4 4
Password: 2 6 6 3 4 4

now you need to know the template (you will see 3 arrows on the screen of the phone):
<- Heading Enter->
<- Back Next->

Now you you will see:
-> TERMINALS&SETS and press Enter
-> type in the extension of your set and Enter
-> hit Next and enter at CAPABILITIES
-> keep hitting next till you see PAGE ZONE:1 and then press CHANGE till it says NONE
-> hit next once and then the RLS button...

Voila, your set will now not page anymore.

Page button

Ok ~ I need you to goto the phone, dial FEATURE * 0 (this shows you what is on all the buttons on the set) and press the page button...
It should display F631 if it says anything else, that is what the button is...

Ok, so, to change the button back to page...

-> press FEATURE * 3
-> press the button for Page
-> press FEATURE 6 3 1

Voila, you have now programmed the button to page once again.
