Model DZ-HS300A Am I able to copy the recordings on the HDD to the hard drive on my PC or can I only save them to a DVD? I am using ImageMixer3. Is this the correct software to accomplish this or should I be using something else? Thank you. Karl

Almost all newer Camcorders can upload to a PC provided the PC has a Firewire port and cable. If your PC does not have a fire wire (1394) port the you can buy a add on card and instaall it or have it installed. You can then visit the Hitachi web site and on thier product support page down load the user manual and that will explain how to hook everything up and whar software is reccomended. Look at page 127 in the user manual. Then at #4... "click OK." The next step on page 128 shows that it will search for your HDD camcorder. Confusing, I know.
