Food in bottom drawer of fridge freezes. what is the problem?

See if there is a temperature setting on the side of the drawer. Mine has a small lever that opens a hole to the freezer to keep that drawer colder. If it's opened too far the food will freeze.

Check the top of the inside of the fridge. There is usually a flap door mechanism that sometimes falls off or sticks. This regulates the temp in the fridge.

Put the duals back to factory setting. Always the middle number and it is always highlighted. If they already are then turn the fridge only down a setting. The freezer always stays at factory I think 3 or 4 on Amanas.

Make sure nothing fell below your crisper, deli drawer section. There are some air return vents below them and if they get partially obstructed would allow cold air to pool in the bottom of the fridge.
Make sure your freezer control did not get turned up too high.
Also you may want to check with the manufacturer as they did have some issues with some of the bottom mount models exhibiting this problem and they developed a repair kit for them.

You may have an issue with the temperature control assembly. Check the temperature settings (ideally at "one-half way" for both fresh food and freezer compartments).

Contact an appliance service company.

I FOUND A PROBLEM WITH A COUPLE OF THESE THAT THE AIR FUNNEL ALONG THE BACK WALL WAS SEPERATED FROM THE FLOOR OF THE REFRIGERATOR REMOVE THE CRISPERS AND LOOK AT THE BACK WALL. IF THERE IS A GAP AT THE BOTTOM AIR DUCT APPLY SILICONE {FOOD GRADE ONLY} TO SEAL THE GAP

Hi, this problem is going to be with the running thermostat. (cold Control). It has gone bad and stays open which in turn will keep the compressor running continually and will cause the fridge to get colder and freeze food. It can normally be located in the control panel inside the fridge (it is the control that has wires, the other is the damper). Locate the thermostat and replace it. contact the people who made the frig, sounds like a service call might be needed. you are paying for food that is destroyed, the service guy may save you money in the long run.

You have a defective thermistor and damper control in the fresh food or a bad control board.
Check the thermistor first.
Also, adjust the return air damper at the bottom left side of the fresh food sction to warmer.

you can decrease the setting of your thermostat for a start.
