My Fisher and Paykel washer seems to do the same thing as the others have posted. It starts the wash cycle then decides to stop and start beeping, and flashes the cold and hot water lights. If I press start, it will start up again, but then just stops and starts beeping again with the same flashing lights about 2 minutes later. I think I might need the new hall sensor that you speak of, but I don't know where to get it as I am in California, U.S. If you can point me in the right direction or if I can get that part through you, can you please contact me? Thank you.
I know that this reply is way too late, but it's for the benefit of anyone following this thread looking for an answer. This problem is usually caused by moisture damage on the lower edge of the power and processor pcb. remove the processor unit open it up, and look at the bottom of the pcb. if htere is water damage (scale, corrosion etc) lightly clean the area with some very fine emery paper, wipe it clean, and seal it with a NON-CONDUCTIVE waterproofing agent (ie fish oil, or even some NON-GRAPHITE grease). this should fix it.
DIFFICULT CALL AS THE HALL SENSOR NORMALLY INDICATES OR IS USED FOR PRECICION TEMP. CONTROL.IF THE TEMP. WERE INCORRECT, IT WOULD SIMPLY CONTINUE THE CYCLE AT AN INCORRECT TEMP. I FEEL BOARD IS DEFECTIVE.
