Question about Black & Decker FP1400 Quick N Easy Plus Food Processor

Black & Decker F1 CFP 10 food processor bowl cracked

Have anyone been able to locate a replacement bowl for Black & Decker F1 CFP 10 Short Cut Food Processor? Or, does anyone know of a current model bowl that will serve as a replacement?

This has been a really great appliance and works wonderfully, but for the cracked bowl.

Bowl cracked at the actuator I can still run it but it is not safe.

my bowl is cracked too. I welded it with a soldiering iron but it's not a permanent fix

Are you talking about the "disc stem" that holds the grater disc on? I need one too -- mine cracked down the middle. I LOVE this food processor and hate to get rid of it because of this one problem.

Why doesn't my brand new black and decker fp1140bd power on? Right out of the box this won't power on. I have assembled, unassembled and reassembled probably 20 times and I've just about memorized the instruction book...all 16 languages. I can't find any support on line, Black and Decker's website offers nothing, it's a Saturday so I have to wait until next week to hear from somebody. Is there some kind of hidden switch?
