Yellow and blue shadows on screen

IF you go into the customer menu and select convergence look to see if blue or red is skewed or will not adjust in some direction---you have a convergence circuit problem.
kp41T65 uses two of the STK-392-150 CONVERGENCE IC CHIPS.
Most likely only the chips will have to be replaced and the set adjusted with the Sony remote, considering you can buy a pair of the chips on Ebay for about 12 dollars plus shipping if you or someone you know can do the repair--you can save the set and a lot of money--most shops are going to get 300 or more for this type of repair.
If you are able to do the repair I can assist you with general instructions and what you will need to do it.
This kind of repair in the home usually takes about 1 hour--once it is fixed it will not have the same problem again for 5-8 years---lifespan of the chips.

Check the proximity of magnetic fields. Large Speakers near the TV for example will cause colour distortion.
