Can't download songs from Rhapsody to my new LG Chocolate
Hi - I have a subscription to Rhapsody TO GO. I just purchased an LG Chocolate VX8550 through Verizon today. I am trying to download songs to the phone/player, but on my library screen on Rhapsody it does not show my phone as an icon - does not recognize the device. I also do not get the icon in "my computer". Help!

I can help you with the computer problem. I assume that you're using USB cable to connect your phone to your computer, so you need a driver.

After you download it, install it, and then try to plug in the phone to the computer by the USB cable.

Tip: The max point reward for answering a question is 15.
That means you will need to transfer one track to your device from rhapsody..the songs you have from rhapsody has a license in them...the licenses get renew every month..that means if you discontinue your service, you are not going to be able to play those songs...just try to transfer one track from rhapsody to your device and that will solve your problems...
Okay, here's what i've encountered: songs that I downloaded on rhapsody, without purchasing, only lasted about 7-10 days unless i reconnected. once my trial period ended, i lost all the songs. songs that i've purchased i've had no trouble (although if you load them to the sansa immediately after download, you may get the same message. its best to wait at least 24 hours). good luck
Do you have an account with Rhapsody?
The preloaded music is part of the Rhapsody subscription service. If you dont have an account, you will receive that message until you delete the preloaded music, or subscribe to the Rhapsody Service.
