Fuzzy saturated look on LCD - Sony Cybershot 4.1 MP camera

This camera is 1.5 years old to date. Last week the LCD alone started to play up. It looked like it couldnt focus or something and when you took a picture the picture looked saturated in colour and fuzzy. Since then it has come right and havent had a problem with it! It usually the most reliable camera. Can anyone give insight to what could have been the problem and if it will come back? I talked to 1 electronics guy and he said that it would have been a "bad connection" but that can go by itself - wchih mine seems to have done.. Thanks so much, would really appreciate someones help Jay

Can the sony cybershot lcd be replaced with that of the canon's lcd

I successfully replaced broken Sony Cybershot LCD screen myself. I purchased replacement screen on e-bay for less than $30, including shipping. Then I found a recording on how to replaced this screen on Youtube. In addition I recorded replacement with a camcorder to make sure that I put all parts back where they suppose to be. It was more than a year ago, and my camera works beautifully still.

I don't know how to view photos on camera

Since camera model number is not mentioned in question, there are 2 ways to view pictures in Sony camera.
Either you will find Play Back symbol in mode dial on camera, rotate mode dial until playback is selected or camera has Play Back button near LCD which need to be pressed so camera will shift to playback and you can view pictures in memory.

My sony cybershot wont turn on!!

The symptoms sound like a failing battery. The camera is shutting down due to insufficient power during startup checks. How old is your battery? Rechargeables really aren't meant to last more than a year or two.

Now I realize that Sony batteries are outrageously expensive. But thankfully there are generic alternatives such as:

I have a sony Cybershot DSC T11, works great, but sometimes when I turn it on, the LCD is black screen...this started to happen 1 week now, battery is 2 years old. Is this simply a new rechargeable battery...

1st step would be to replace the battery and see, second would be to see if you bought a service plan through best buy so they can send it to service
