Hi i have got a LG32" RE/RL-32FZ10 series television but for some reason it keeps turninig itself off for no reason.
Sometimes it can be on for hours and other times it goes off after 15 mins. its as if it is going into standyby mode or something.
Has anyone any ideas as to what it could be???

Hi All,
Seems this problem is as simple as dry joints on main circuit board ( largest in set) Found at least 4 all resoldered and set has worked fine since 1 week before Christmas.

Try a factory reset first. If it do not help you, the main digital board of your TV is faulty, and should be replaced. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.
I Have the same problem, LG 32" , LC2D a couple of work arounds that work are
1) - never unplug the mains plug
2) - i noticed it does this when the clock time is --:-- , i find that switching to digital tv can stop this,
however these are only tempory fixes and the problem re surfices, as i have found out after having no problem for 12 months, i have accidently unplugged the mains, and now the tc keep turning itself off,
