Re:
Many of the parts in these sets are proprietory. The manufacture reps generaly change the complete board to service the sets.
The can be failed and you change them, but you would have to also find the cause of the failure. If not, when you apply the power back again, the new parts will fail again!

have you looked in the owner's manual ? Support LED TV UN40H5203AF Samsung TVs
don't know if this the right one for your set, I think the 40" series all have the same manual. I couldn't download it myself. Also on that webpage you can 'chat' to a Samsung rep. who should be able to give you better directions to the correct instructions
You should have to contact the authorized service centre for Samsung in this case. Plasma screens are not available by open electronic spare part market. Gopakumar Gopalan Google
hi if you brought the tv in november might best to get in contact where you got it from ask them to send a tech out, you won't have to pay as it should be covered by the warranty good luck
make shure that the computer is set up to display on the screen. To check and see right click on your desktop, click on the option that says screen resolution, and then change your settings from their. The tv will not register that you have a computer plugged into it if the computer is not sending the tv a signal.
Without a model number I gather the TV she threw the remote at is a LCD tv? If so look at replacing the set as the LCD panel is now damaged and usually cost more that what a replacement set will. There is no fixing a damaged LCD panel.
I have a 52" flat screen plasma and a green screen with sound. No picutre
