My Dell 5210n printer has a very loud squeak in the back. How do open the printer to lubricate the bearings?

The squeak is in the back below the paper exit area. I lubricated the top bearings, but the parts that squeak are below. How can I disassemble it?

Usually you don't lubricate. It is probably the fuser assembly wearing. How is the print quality? Have you ran a test page, ran a supply status page? Checked the error log?

SOURCE: Jams

Check the sensor at the rear of the fuser. Sometimes sensor gets stuck.

SOURCE: squeaks and squeals when printing

since you bought it, has it been making this noise? if your answer is yes, then you don't have to do anything. if your answer is no, then you may have to get a machine lubricant and apply a little at the wheels on both ends of the printer. but you have to open it and take off the top cover. the screws are at the bottom of the printer.

SOURCE: Paper is torn at fuser area of Dell 1125 and cannot remove

Please double check if all doors, including the paper tray cover, are firmly (repeat FIRMLY !) closed. Seemingly all such are designed as precautionary measures for safe operation.

My Gaggenau dishwasher squeaks very loudly when the door is opened and closed. Tried using WD40but it just comes back. Dishwasher is 13 months old

Hello,
Try to determine the area where the squeak is coming from. Does it happen as you are opening the door. On many models it is caused by the rollers, and/or the springs that counter-balance the door. WD-40 does a lot of things, but long lasting lubrication is not one of them. Try a silicone or teflon grease in the roller bearing axle. Also try to put some kind of plastic sleeve over the hook of the spring as it attaches to the frame of the dishwasher. If it still squeaks after you've tried these suggestions, you may need to replace the spring tension rollers, they're not too expensive. Hope this helps.

Replace printhead. If Dell can't be found or is cost prohibitive, use a refurb/reconditioned Lexmark T640 series printhead.

Loud squeaking noise when you start up the dryer could it be a bearing dull squeak not high pitched a little bit of a grind sound

It does sound like a bearing or at least a lack of lubrication. But it could also be belt slippage if it only happens at the start. If it is the bearing it would be continuous and slowly get louder and louder.

Paper from tray 2 starts to load then you here a high pitch squeak then paper jams and gives error code 241.09. Pull paper out of bottom tray reinsert paper then is fine till it jams again. Any thoughts.

If its some thing that just started, then you may want tocheck if you are using a new paper manufacturer. Sometimes frequent jams arecaused by thin paper.

What does this error message mean: "917.00 service transfer roll"

The transfer roller is missing, not touching the drum, poor contact to the transfer high voltage or transfer high voltage shorted.
The trasfer roller is below the drum. Its bearings are on springs to press the paper against the drum. The drum rotates it by gears at one end. One of the bearings have electrical contact with the spring and the spring is connected to the DC controller. The transfer roller receives high voltage that attracts the toner from the drum. It's current is measured and when it's not within specifications the error occures.
