Alright, so the other night, i was washing my face. I rinsed it but i didnt dry my hands completely and my fingers where a little wet and now the touch screen wont work. Ive done this before, on accident im not careless, and NOW all of a sudden its not working. What can i do to revive the touch screen? I was talking to a friend of mine and he said that there are 2 types of touch screens, im not sure which one this phone has or if that even matters but whatever i could do to get my phone back to its 100% amazing state and that woud be beautiful.
All smartphones for the last 10 years or more, have capacitive touch screens with Gorilla Glass. It's possible the water had electrolytes in it which are shorting the surface of the glass. Wash it thoroughly with distilled water several times and dry it completely, and reboot the phone.

You can buy a new water proof touch screen online and you will be able to go to a Verison store and have them install it for you. Also put the phone in a zip-lock bag full of uncooked rice for several weeks. Make sure the battery and phone are in the bag seperately.
