Using a color enlarger to print both color and black and white photos

Some enlargers have dials on the front that are labeled yellow, cyan and magenta. These enlargers are made to print both black and white and color photos. To print in colors you use the dials to perfect the colors of your print. Let say that you took a picture and the colors look to be a bit off. In the light you would hold up a color filter to the image and decide which filter makes the color look closest to what you want the final image to look like. Then taking the information on the card you go back into the dark room and adjust the dials on the enlarger according to the card that was used. If you were looking through a green filter then you would lower the number on the magenta dial.

Printing in black and white on an enlarger with these dials is a little different. Since there are no colors in the black and white paper these dials have a different function. They are used to adjust the contrast of an image. If you turn the light on in the enlarger without paper under it and turn the dials you will notice that the magenta will make the light darker. When you print with the yellow and cyan dials at 0 and magenta at around 10-20 this will add contrast the image. You can always develop all your negatives without touching any of these dials, but if you can master them then your images will have a little less flat than those with little to no contrast.

How is the a/c condenser attached to the radiator on a 2006 impala

According to Mitchell On Demand, you need to remove the radiator first. Remove cooling fan assembly and then the radiator. The condenser just rests on the radiator mounts with 4 mounting pads. You lift the condenser off these to just replace the radiator leaving the condenser in place. Of course after removing the radiator, you disconnect the condenser lines and remove it at that time.

It starts flashing VACUME CONDENSER after 24 hrs on my sub zero 690 side by side fridge .I cleaned the condenser but some one suggested I can wash with hot water spray bottle (I did not tried). If there is...

"Vacuum Condenser" light on this refrigerator will appear if you have any kind of issues - some of their models would have "Service" light instead of Vacuum Condenser. As My expirience shows Most likely Your Fresh food section is low on refrigerant - Evaporator might leak freon - so what we would have in this case - compressor runs for longer time then suppose to - as a result "Vacuum Condenser" or (some models) "Service" appears. Another sigh of low freon pressure people would notice ice build up on the back wall of the refrigerator section on the left side on the middle. I post video on my YouTube chanel, so u can check how to fix it properly.

The ice cube indicator is blinking

From the manual:

The Control Center monitors refrigerator and

freezer temperatures as well as the ice maker

system. If there is a temperature or ice maker

problem, you'll be alerted by a flashing

SERVICE indicator light. This same SERVICE

light will also flash if the condenser needs

cleaning. Before calling for service, please

check and see if your condenser area needs

cleaning. Refer to Condenser Cleaning,
page 22.

CONDENSER CLEANING

In all Built-In models, the condenser is located

behind the grille. First, remove the grille. Then

using a soft bristle brush, vacuum to remove

dust and lint from the condenser. NOTE: To

avoid bending the condenser fins, be sure to

vacuum in the direction of the fins (up and

down). Clean the condenser area every three

to six months.

CAUTION

Before cleaning the unit, shut the electricity

off at the control panel. When you

clean the condenser, wear gloves to avoid

injury from the sharp condenser fins.

Failure to clean the condenser could

result in temperature loss or mechanical
failure or damage.

Vacuum condenser light of sub zero 650 is on - how to clean it

We recommend vacuuming your condenser every 3 - 6 months. Cleaning the condenser is important for the overall operations of the unit including cooling functions. A dirty condenser may lead to warm temperatures in the refrigerator and freezer. It may also cause the unit to run excessively. It may contribute to condensation or frost inside of the compartments. If the condenser is not cleaned properly it may even cause premature failure of mechanical components in the unit. Condenser Cleaning - All Models Before cleaning the unit, shut the electricity off at the control panel. When you clean the condenser, wear gloves to avoid injury from the sharp condenser fins. Use a soft bristle brush and vacuum to remove dust and lint from the condenser. To avoid bending the condenser fins, be sure to vacuum in the direction of the fins, up and down. Clean the condenser every three to six months or sooner if you have pets. 600 Series Framed and Stainless Steel louvered grilles: First remove the grille screws located at the bottom of the grille. Tilt the top of the grille forward and release the springs from behind the grille, then lift off. Overlay Panel Grille: To remove, lift up then pull out at the bottom and down to release from its mounting bracket. Remove the two black screws in the lowest louver of the grille. Tilt the bottom of the grille out and away. It will release from the top of the grille. Model 601RG Stainless Steel Grille: Remove in a similar fashion as the overlay grille panel. 700 Series All Units: At the bottom of the unit, remove the four screws holding the kick plate/grille in place. It will then slide forward, giving you access to the condenser area. 400 Series 424/424FS At the bottom of the unit, remove the screws holding the kick plate. The condenser is located behind. 427/427R: Remove the four screws holding the kick plate/grille in place. It will then slide forward, giving you access to the condenser area. 430: First remove the screws located at the bottom of the grille. NOTE: These screws (Phillips head) are accessed with the door open. Tilt the top of the grille forward and release the springs from behind the grille, then lift off. 200 Series 245, 249, 315W Remove the kick plate at the bottom of the unit, giving you access to the condenser area.

Nikon N80 Shutter? Issue

dear ben505,
This could be due to the shutter leaking light from the top or bottom, and it could also be caused by light leaking in through the camera back. The most common cause of edge fogging is light leaking in through the film canister, which happens over time if the unused film is not stored properly. If this is a high ISO film(400 and up) and you load your film into the camera in a very bright enviroment that can also cause film fogging. Try a brand new roll of film and if that doesn't resolve the problem I would have it looked at by a camera service technician.

Sincerely,
Agent Allan
