My Zanussi F1245W will not drain. It washes normally and agitates. I have removed the pump to check for blockages - clear. Impeller spindle rotates. Drain tube is clear. Retested but machine still would not drain. I did not remove the big drain hose connected to the bottom of the drum when I removed the pump but could feel a ball in the top of the big hose that I could manipulate up and down the hose but would not fit through the pump end of the hose. Is this ball part of the system? Is the pump faulty? Regards
The ball is part of the system. They float up when there is water in the washer and as it drains if go's down. It sounds to me you must have a blockage somewhere, if you know the pump is operating in the drain cycle. If your sure there is no blockage and the ump is working I would replace the pump. On electric pumps they may work but if the impeller is worn from something that got into the pump it will spin but not pump the water out. Hope this helps you.

Hi
This issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged
drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and
remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower
front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs,
you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Hope this
helps... Please post back for any further assistance.
