Code ee 5 on sharp microwave model rcd 2200m

It may be that the voltage selector on the back of the oven is not set to the proper level of your AC supply.

It will probably have settings for 208VAC or 230VAC.

Chances are your oven is set to 208VAC but it is on a 230VAC line.

Refer to your owner's manual for specific details.

ERROR EE8 ON SHARP 24AT

R-24AT is a UK model, and I'm in the US, so I can't give you detailed, specific part number info.

But in the Sharp commercial microwave manuals I have, it says the EE8 error means you have a shorted relay.

I would assume that's one of the cook relays on your controller board.

Here is the US, we have R-24GT and R-24GV models, and they may be similar enough that their service manual (here) will help you some.

But if you need further parts or service help, I would suggest contacting Sharp UK support here and here, respectively.

Good luck.

My microwave is showing EE on the control panel and then stopping what could cause this

Hi.

If the microwave was built by LG, then error EE means "EEprom Failure".

The eeprom is a memory chip built into the oven electronic control board. The error usually means that the electronic board must be replaced. In some case the alluminium insulation foil that protects the board must also be replaced. A radiation leakage test must be done after carrying the repair. The repair must be performed by a technician.

Regards.

Getting an "EE" and it

Check this against your code, but iff EE is flashing you may have an internal electrical fault that needs to be checked out by a repair person.

Ee5 ERROR CODE on r-22gtf

Your voltage selector is not set properly.

The R-23GT and the R-24GT have been preset for 230V operation.

If you need to change this oven for 208V operation, follow instructions below.

1. Unplug oven.
2. Remove one screw(A) from the Voltage Select Cover located on back of the oven near the bottom.
3. Remove the Voltage Select Cover and rotate 180 degrees.
4. Reinstall the Voltage Select Cover using one screw(A) removed in Step 2.
5. Plug power cord into wall outlet.

Your oven is now ready for 208V, 60Hz operation.

GE Spacemaker Problem

Here are some links you or someone you know can use (in order given) for test help, but read the safety warnings first:

You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

There
should also be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the
control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is
very helpful when troubleshooting & testing.
