I recieved my H700 yesterday, paired it to my samsung sch-u540... everything was working fine. Today, I was unplesesently suprised to find that I could not use the headset for calls. the insteredting thing is that I can control calls with the call button (ie, answer a call, end a call, redial last number, etc) I can also hear beeping in the headset from pushing the various buttons. however, where everything goes wrong is I cannot hear calls nore talk into the boom mic once I have recived a call... it automatically goes to my phone's speaker/mic. Like I said I can accept and end calls but cannot seem to get the headset to function. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

If tv is bluetooth capable, look under menus and pair with H700.
Phones if initially paired will simply need to have bluetooth 'active' (as by default it is usually off). - If not pair - you will need to go through menus under 'settings' to pair with the H700 (also at this point indicate that the H700 is 'trusted device').
The average life of a Bluetooth Earpiece is usually a few years. When you are having symptoms like you are describing it usually means that the Blutooth headset is at the end of its service life. You might want to cintact Motorola and see if they will Warranty them.
Were you able to find a solution to this problem? My samsung wep 460 started doing the same thing today. I can hear tones but no sound from calls. Thanks! [email protected]
Is the headset paired and connected to your phone? Is bluetooth turned on in your phone? Look for the bluetooth icon on top of your phone's screen. Let me know what model phone you have and I can help you troubleshoot.
I had the same problem with my Razor and the H700. I removed the device from the phone and reinstalled and that fixed the pairing probelm...Now I have another problem. I can hear the party I'm talking to just fine but no onee can hear me...this is my second Motorola ear piece and I've had the same problem twice...I think its a microphone problem...anyway, try to unistall and then reinstall the ear piece, that should fix your problem
Place the unit headset back in pairing mode by holding the call button for 1 to 5 seconds until the light turns purple. Then open the boom. Then try to reconnect .
